Lorin - it's hard to believe it's been a year this week. Those of us who knew you are all the better for it, and we miss you.

Lorin, I can't believe it has almost been a year. Last weekend was Carter's 1st brithday! (I so wish you had the chance to meet him) I pulled out some of my old party decorations which included the sparkly hats from New Years 2008! I immediatly thought of you because you rocked that hat! You also made a point to always have something sparkly on to be festive for the holidays! Miss you much!!!

Lorin: It most certainly is a beautiful day and great to be alive. So reminded me of that with the essay you wrote for NCAA Woman of the Year submission. Today is a great day of blessing. For all of us to live in God's presence is one of his many gifts hereand now and for all eternity.

Happy Birthday Lorin. I have your picture on my refrigerator and so very few days have gone by this year that I haven't thought of you. You are missed.

Lorin was Truly an amazing woman and her joy still makes me smile!! She has completely inspired me in so many ways. Her passion was enormous and very contagious. I am running in the Mini Marathon in May and I know her spirit will be running with me!!
Thank you to her wonderful and loving family. You will be in our prayers this Holiday Season!
