May god be with you through this trying time, especially tomorrow. I lost my best friend Maddy that night, and no words can express how sorry I am for your loss. I know that everyone on that flight is looking down on us smiling. They would all be so proud of all that has been done in their honor. xo

As a father of both a son and a daughter, my heart aches for you. No parent should have to suffer the loss of one of their children. I am so sorry for your loss.
With deepest sympathy,

Just a co-worker (Track and Field). I remember Lorin as a very nice girl. She was quick to smile and laugh. I sensed that she really wanted to do her job well..and she did. Though I didn't know her well, I was very sad to hear of the accident.

My sincere prayers go out to Lorin's family during this time. Just remember God is counting all of your tears and is there to help you through. God bless you.

It's just so disheartening to know that one of our own alumnus was lost in this tragedy. I pray that the legislation on further regulation will be adopted soon. It should have never come to this. My deepest heartfelt sympathies to her family and friends.

How very sad and how very unnecessary. This was actually a crime; a crime by those who conspired to deregulate the aviation industry three decades ago in the pursuit of profit. I want to thank all of you who are working to prevent this from happening to other families
