I found this site b/c of the article in the Indy Star. Lorin looks like the kind of girl you could just love and she seemed so happy! I have great sympathy for you Kevin, Lorin's parents and brother, she looked like a bright shining star and now she is shining down on you all and looking over you all. Good luck Kevin and Chris in the mini, that's a great tribute to Lorin!

Scott, Terry, Chris and Kevin:
My thoughts, prayers and love go out to you today as they have every day since Lorin passed. You have shown incredible strength during this time as you each strive to see that something positive comes out of this tragedy. May you feel the warmth of Lorin's smile each and every day, and may her memory be an inspiration to you always.

Dear Maurer Family & All of Lorin's Friends,
A day does not go by that I don't think of Lorin's face. She was such an amazing person and role model to me, I will never forget her.
My heart goes out to all of you.

I crossed paths with Lorin only briefly, but even in that short time it was obvious that she had a light to share with the world. And that she shared it unselfishly. We have since had the pleasure of getting to know Christopher, Scott, Terry and Kevin. They have the same light and they will shine it in Lorin's memory.
