Maurer Family and Kevin,
When I first met Lorin, her smile is what struck me the most. To have known Lorin for a few short months, was a privilege and a blessing. What everyone have said is so true...she never met a stranger! At the Butler games Lorin and I would talk about how fans should stay until the last second, no matter the game situation. Now every time I see a fan leave with 1 second or more left on the game clock, I will smile to myself as I remember Lorin and her amazing smile and her positive energy.

My deepest sympathies to Terry, Scott and Chris. To lose a child must be one of the most difficult experiences for parents to go through. Terry, if my name does not ring a bell, we were in the same class at CCHS. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Take Care, Suzanne

I'm an Olympic Short Track Speed Skater who went to high school with Lorin and I am so deeply saddened and so sorry. I will remember her smile and dedication as I would always pass her everyday in the hall, hair wet, after she trained for swimming between classes. She was always so nice in passing. The World will be strengthened by those who's heart she touched. God Bless.

Dear LoLo, well...you got your wish, we finally had our intern class reunion. And while you were not physically there with us, your presence was felt amongst us as we celebrated your incredible life and your joyous, loving spirit. You inspire me to live my life to the fullest...it was evident you did this everyday. I miss you and always will. As promised, I went to Scholars Inn this past Thursday and had a martini in your honor (ok, I'll confess that I may have had two or three in your honor!). Thank you for touching my life. I love you and am thankful for your friendship. Love, V

I guess I should stop sending messages via facebook and say something on YOUR webpage. Lorin, you're incredible and you are going to be incredibly missed. I have not stopped thinking about you since the accident. The memorial service yesterday was really beautiful, and as you know, all of your intern buddies made it. We love you Lorin. And as for the Maurer family, your strength and grace were unbelievable all weekend. Please know my thoughts and prayers are forever with you.
