A girl just came to me asking for my permission for her to use my name for a scholarship at Wilson HS. I naturally agreed and asked "What scholarship is it for?" She replied how it was for Lorin's scholarship. It really hit me like a ton of bricks...How this lovely senior high student was remembering, without ever knowing her, what a great person Lorin is.

I wear a specific purple tie to work once a year. And since February 12th was a Sunday, I wore it on Monday the 13th. Some of my friends at work who have known me for a while notice it and automatically realize why. It makes them think about you too. But when others point it out or ask about it, I am happy to tell them about my friend Lorin.

Thinking of you on this day with a heavy heart. It is so hard to believe that three years have pass by so quickly. I miss you and think of you often as one of my special angels watching over those who love you. Thank you for being a part of my life each and everyday.

It's so hard to believe you have been gone for 3 years. You will live on in my heart and in the hearts of all the people you have touched throughout your life. Dad and I love you so very much and miss you terribly.

Hi Lorin! You know we are always thinking of you; but today Renata said "It's Lorin Day! Can we do something special?" Dominic took your picture out of the frame & mounted it to cardstock & is drawing & writing works all around it & Lydia wants to go to Reading to visit you. As for Carlee, well, she just misses you. Thanks for having such a positive impact on your cousins, you will always be their role model. We miss you.

Lorin we didn't have a chance to meet you on this side. We look forward to meeting you, soon. Your Mom and Dad - Scott and Terry have been such a support to my husband - my daughter-in-law and me through the loss of our son Jeremy. One day we will all be together with you and Jeremy. We so look forward to that time

A former airline pilot. I was looking into Colgan 3407 and Lorin's name appeared in an article. The FAA does not make safety its 100% priority.

Hi Lorin,
I'm a Princeton alum and I got to speak with you a few times when I attended Friends of Princeton Basketball events. You were so nice and helpful to me every time we spoke. I'll never forget your kindness. God Bless you, your family and friends.

Lorin,
Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching, and that means the Indy 500 is once again upon us. Once again, you will not be there. What started out over 20 years ago as a party with my college friends turned into a family reunion each year as I got closer with you and your family. Things haven't been the same the past few years without you. They will never be the same again.
The big parties are gone, and we are a smaller group now. But the one thing that we all acknowledge each year is how much you affected each of us.
I will think of you during the annual Saturday night walk around the track. I will think of you when I'm in the grandstands. I will think of you the entire weekend. And in what has become a sobering tradition, I will toast you with my family and friends and raise a glass of "moon juice" to your memory several times this weekend.
We miss you!
