Today I woke up to a beautiful sunrise of bright pastel colors and no clouds. Lorin would say, "It's a beautiful day and it's great to be alive". Yes it is...but that doesn't mean our hearts are not broken. We miss Lorin ever day. On this 7th anniversary of the tragedy we will try to have a good day and soak in all that is good but we do miss her. Much Love forever...Dad

This is a young lady with a well lived life.
Clearly she affected everyone she met!

Iit was such a pleasure to meet you both @ the FAF/Aviem training.Lrin would be proud of her parents for the loving, purposeful way they have chosen to keep her memory alive. She must have been amazing! She certainly has great parents.

My wife and I were in Buffalo two weeks visiting from Orlando. We drove over to Long St and visited the site. They have done a very nice job with the location. Our thoughts to you, your family and all of those involved.

Over the 4th of July weekend, I was home with family in the suburbs of Chicago. I was having a nice conversation with my mother, asking her about her upcoming trip to Florida with her sister and cousin. My mom has always hated to fly. But she told me that for the last couple years, when she gets on a plane she feels an overwhelming sense of calm like she had never felt before. As crazy as it sounds, she is convinced that Lorin is watching over her.
And I believe it. Even though she is gone from this Earth, Lorin still looks out for others.

I'm looking out at our snowy neighborhood and thinking of you two today. Thank you so much for the huge impact you have already made and continue to make. I hope your trip is going well and that everyone is listening and learning.

I've been thinking about Lorin a lot lately, especially today. It does not seem like five years have passed. I'm so thankful that she was a part of my life, even for the brief amount of time that I worked and lived with her.

Did You Know?
Lorin was a notoriously slow eater. Everyone at the table would be finished and Lorin would still have half her meal left. This probably had something to do with her affinity for conversation.
Please Help!
In the wake of the tragic plane crash that took Lorin's life along with 50 others, we have been heavily campaigning for our government and the aviation industry to improve their safety practices.
